If you wondering if you should come & see us, we think it’s an awesome idea..

Chameleon Junction is open from 6.30am everyday. We do breakfast, lunch & dinner along with Genovese coffee, smoothies, juices, wines, spirits & beer.

We have a great menu and specials too so there is lots to choose from. Takeaway, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free & dairy free options are all part of it.

Study, parties, debriefs, functions, celebrations & general contemplation are all welcome at Chameleon Junction. Same goes families, groups, couples, singles, colleagues & children.

We use good things wherever we can.

  • biodegradeable coffee cups & lids & takeaway food packaging
  • minimal glad wrap in our kitchen.
  • who gives a crap toilet paper
  • thank you & eco store cleaning products including the hand soap you will use
  • rainforest alliance clean coffee and chemical free decaf
  • kids toys are timber with non toxic paint or non toxic materials
  • as close to certified and/or certified free range meats
  • real green plants to keep the air fresher and cleaner inside

Need takeaway?

Call us on 03 8525 1757 if you would like to collect a take-away order. You are welcome to take away anything on the menu apart from bottles of alcohol. There are toasties, salads, cakes, smoothies, coffee & tea and loads more to takeaway.

But if you can take the time to spare to eat with us, then please stay.


BREAKFAST – Until 3pm

Pea Fritters with a free range poached egg, smoked almond crumb &  goat’s cheese       v

Black Porridge. Warming wild grains with caramelised banana, toasted coconut, macadamia granola & tangy coconut yoghurt    v, vg, df, gf

Baile (bal-yeh) Fry. Housemade potato farl & soda bread, grilled tomato, baked beans, mushrooms, cabbage & kale hash & two fried eggs with a choice of grilled  haloumi OR bacon.

CJ Benedict. Maple cured bacon & two poached eggs on a golden cabbage & kale hash topped with apple cider vinegar hollandaise

VEGE Benedict with poached eggs, CJ hash, mushrooms, goat’s cheese, spinach & apple cider vinegar hollandaise

Light Rye Sourdough TOAST & butter with peanut butter, vegemite, honey or jam

EGGS; scrambled, poached, boiled or fried on light rye sourdough toast

SIDES: Maple cured bacon, Pork breakfast sausage, Chipotle bacon jam, Mushroom mess; goat’s cheese, mushroom & spinach.   Grilled tomato, Cabbage & kale hash, Jalapeno mayo, Housemade baked beans, Black pudding, Mushrooms, Hollandaise, Haloumi, Wilted spinach.

KIDS – all kids meals come with sliced apple and either milk, juice or soda water. Our kids meals are recommended for kids 6 and under.

Sesame Soba Noodle Salad with good for you greens, marinated tofu & crispy fried enoki mushrooms finished with tasty toasted pepitas & housemade sesame dressing   vg, v, gf option

Rueben. Perfectly sized Rueben sandwich; pickles, brisket pastrami, Swiss cheese, a dash of horseradish & Russian dressing on toasted rye   gf option

CJ Cheeseburger. Housemade 150g beef pattie, bacon jam, secret CJ burger sauce, cheese & sweet pickle with a side of CJ fries

Fish & Chips. Battered Barramundi with CJ fries, green salad & garlic aioli   df

CJ Haloumi Burger . Grilled haloumi, portobello mushroom, mixed lettuce,  spicy mayo & a side of CJ fries   df

Beef Brisket Spaghetti Bolognese. Housemade tomato & slow cooked brisket sauce with shaved parmesan

Buttermilk Fried Free Range Chicken Burger with red cabbage slaw, honey mustard mayo & a side of CJ fries

Spaghetti Marinara with prawns, local mussels, calamari, salmon & chilli in a white wine sauce

Gnocchi. A blissful balance of Grana Padano, charred brussel sprouts & roasted root veg with a pine nut crumb   v, vg & df option


Classic Creme Caramel with poached berries  v, gf

Warm Chocolate Fondant with salted peanut fudge & vanilla bean ice-cream
